Then you ought to join the 'Make' Pattern Club! We'll be sewing beautiful sewing themed blocks over the next six months to create a fantastic quilt!
We officially started in July - but it's not too late to join in! You'll have access to the patterns released so far, and then the next ones as they become available each month.
We'll be sewing little spools, rotary cutters, seam rippers, sewing machines and the the list goes on! Make it rainbow, make it monochromatic, make a pattern into a pillow or make an entire quilt! Options abound!
It'll be six months of fun, and perfect for the confident beginner when it comes to foundation paper piecing (no curves included!)
The Make Pattern Club is about so much more than just foundation pieced patterns. I mean the patterns are an important part of the Club but it includes more than just patterns. It's an event, it's a community, and most importantly, it's a lot of fun!
Foundation paper piecing is my favourite technique, and I want to share my love of FPP and inspire you to make beautiful things! The patterns included are designed to be full of rainbow and geometric designs. I designed them to celebrate all the things we love about making and creating.
These patterns are designed to work on their own - use these patterns for small projects (hello perfect pillows!) or put together as a fun quilt! Assembly instructions are included to help you put them together to create a quilt just for you!
Sign up to the Pattern Club and build your pattern stash with fun new patterns coming your way each month for 6 months!
Every month, starting on the 7th July, you will receive two brand-new feature patterns PLUS a pattern from the archives!
You'll get an email from me, you can clicky clicky on some links and head to the learning platform. Everything is stored here so that you can access it at any time day or night! Download and print those patterns, grab that fabric, then sew sew sew!
Then you get to snap photos of your beautiful makes and share them in our fun community group so we can all ooh and ahh over what you've made.
By the end of six months, you'll have all of the blocks needed to make a quilt just like this!
Plus... there are options to customise this quilt to truly make it your own!
If you're looking for fabrics to make this, we've got you covered! I designed this Pattern Club to pair perfectly with my brand new fabric line, Make, for Riley Blake Designs. Featuring motifs from the fabric, it's the perfect fabric for the perfect quilt to celebrate all things quilting! Grab a Fat Quarter bundle and start sewing the rainbow!
I've teamed up with three awesome quilt shops for rainbow fabric kits, including options for Make, and solids bundles.
Check out Moonlight Quilters (US), My Fabricology (Australia) and Cow and Giraffe (UK) to see all that fabric goodness!
Plus you can find more details and an exclusive discount to each shop in the Welcome Kit when you sign up.
I can’t imagine why anyone would hesitate to join a Quiet Play Club. I’ve done a few over the years and loved them. The designs are original and are easy to make, with clear instructions. They are also totally cute! Beginners need not be afraid as support is always there.

I’ve joined other Block of the Month clubs but Kristy is by far the MOST organized of them all! Patterns are published on time and most importantly with no errors. She’s responsive to questions and quick to give feedback. By far one of the best BOM’s I’ve belonged to.

When I first saw a Block of the Month from Kristy Lea of Quiet Play Designs, I thought it was so beautiful and colorful, and I was hooked. I love Quiet Play designs because the designs are amazing and the instructions are precise and easy to follow. I was really impressed when I realized how well written the instructions were – critical to pattern success and my success. I am now on my fourth pattern club because each design draws me in to its beauty.

There are many reasons to join a Quiet Play Patten Club! The cost is extremely reasonable; Kristy’s patterns are well-designed, with clear and comprehensive directions; patterns from the archive are awesome; it’s motivating to see other members’ finished blocks and seeing various color ways and finishing choices provides inspiration

Payment options include paying in United States Dollars (USD) or Australian Dollars (AUD). You can make a one-off payment - payment is once only and covers the entire Make pattern Club. OR you can choose the payment plan to pay in three monthly installments - this option is available at the checkout.
If your currency is different to one of these, it will be converted to your currency with your payment provider.
You can access the Club as many times as you like during your subscription. You can download and keep the patterns forever. But you must save them to your own computer/USB/Cloud storage. I can't guarantee lifetime access to the patterns if you haven't downloaded them, but you can access them for as long as they're available on the learning platform (and I plan for that to be a good long time, just can't say lifetime ;) ).
